Random Boss[]

Tornado Skeleton?[]

  • Not too difficult once you've got the patterns down and you can predict where the tornadoes will go.
  • The best strategy seems to be to get close to one of the bottom corners. This is a good strategy for dodging tornadoes in general, as this leads to them often being destroyed by hitting walls before getting to you. Since the big tornado follows you, you'll need to move out of the corner to dodge it. The right corner is best due to the clockwise rotation of the small tornadoes around the big tornado, which means a lot of them will be destroyed on the wall before reaching you and you can still escape it by running out of the corner (if you try this from the left corner, you could run into those small tornadoes).
  • If you have sufficient knockback, it can be helpful to push the boss into a corner and stand in the bottom on the same side. This means even more tornadoes get destroyed on the wall (especially the small tornadoes circling the big tornadoes) before getting to you. At this point it could make sense to run into the left corner, where the big tornadoes shouldn't have any more circling small tornadoes and they can easily be dodged by running slightly out of the corner before the big tornado approaches and then running back into the corner below it. Running back above it (i.e. running a circle around it) can also work, but it's more difficult (especially with the other tornadoes you need to dodge).
  • Shield Guard is a very useful ability for this level, to destroy tornadoes in general, but especially to reliably destroy the big tornadoes without having to leave the corner. Wingman is also useful due to the projectile-heavy nature of the fight.

Attacks[]

Note: the small tornadoes mentioned below follow the typical tornado behaviour of curving left and right while moving towards some direction (unless otherwise specified).

Huge Tornado

  • Create a large stationary tornado in the middle of the room which fires small tornadoes in all directions.

Tornado Projectiles

  • Fire 2 sets of fast-moving small tornadoes towards the player.

Big Tornado

  • Fire a tornado that moves directly towards (follows) the player. There are several small tornadoes circling clockwise this tornado.

Rage Golem[]

  • Moderately difficult. You need to plan really well (stay far away from the boss and the summons) and/or have fast reflexes to reliably dodge everything.

Attacks[]

Summon: Rock Puppet

  • Summons 1-2? Rock Puppet monsters, to a maximum of 4?. These fire 3 diagonal projectiles.
  • The boss also fires 8 projectiles in all directions when summoning.

Spin

  • Spin towards the player while releasing projectiles in random directions and leaving a thin trail of fire that lasts for a few seconds.

Diagonal Projectiles

  • Fire 7 small projectiles towards the player.

Large Split Projectiles

  • Fire 2 large projectiles towards the player. Each of these split into 4 smaller projectiles and each of those split into 4 even smaller projectiles.

Small Split Projectiles

  • Fire 3 large projectiles towards the player. Each of these split into 6? small projectiles.

Final Boss[]

Devil Zombie?[]

  • Very difficult to avoid taking damage for very long. You need to keep moving away from the zombies, while also dodging randomly moving projectiles, being in a position to dodge the room-length charge and also dodging the random projectiles fired from the charge.
  • Being able to quickly kill the summons helps a lot, to give you one fewer thing to worry about.

Attacks[]

Summon: Zombie

  • Summons Zombie monsters. Up to a maximum of 5? can be summoned at once, and there can be maximum of 5? at any time. These just slowly move towards the player.

Charge

  • Performs a long charge towards the player and randomly release randomly moving projectiles while moving.

Random Projectile Barrage

  • Fires a barrage of projectiles that each curve randomly in one direction.

Circle Projectiles

  • Spawns about 7 projectiles in a half-circle around the boss. These are launched towards the player after a short delay.
